Ghosts of the Big City
‘What is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare?'
W. H. Davies
The project "Ghosts of the Big City" is a set of photographs captured in the streets of London. It portrays people who are no longer seen as individuals but are part of the moving and living mass that feeds the globalized metropolis. It erodes the cultural, social and gender boundaries, moulds the traditions and modifies preconceptions. The human being is "dissolved" on a global scale.
